"Can you hear the Yorkshire sing..."

Preparing to 'hit the pitch'
The kids are getting some flag waving practice

'Mitch' was there...sometimes?
"...No, No". That was the cry on the bus coming back from Durham as most of the bus let our resident Yorkshireman Richard Ross know where allegiances lay.

It was a funny day weather wise on Friday but that didn't stop 67 HTJ bods from making the trip down to the Riverside to see the Durham Jets take on the Yorkshire Vikings.
We had 14 HTJ kids making up the Guard of Honour waiting for the teams to enter the pitch and then as if by some weird weather timing the heavens opened just as the teams were due to come onto the pitch.

The match had a 25 minute delay but a great evening was had by all as Durham beat Yorkshire to go back top of the Northen league.
The parents seemed to enjoy it big style...don't know why? I wonder if it was anything to do with being able to have a beer in your seats while watching the game.

We will load all of the pics up online soon.
