Luke’s off to Milan

A Big well done to HEBBURN TOWN BLUES BARCA U15 player Luke Hudson who is off to Milan in 2016.
Luke who attended the recent AC Milan Soccer camp which was held at the Hebburn Town FC, Sports and Social Ground was picked with 3 other young lads after impressing the Milan coaches during the week.

Luke will go over to Milan for a weekend in 2016 to play in a youth tournament, go onto the San Siro pitch then watch AC Milan v Lazio. Which will be an amazing experience for Luke.

A great reward for Luke who has been with our club since TOTs, a HTJFC lad through and through.

His coaches Kev, Paul and John said "Well done young fella enjoy it and keep up the excellent work."

Well Done Katie

Congratulations to Katie Scammell from our 14s girls team who has been selected to train with the Durham FA Player Development centre which has been established to provide a pathway between grassroots and girls centre of excellence.

Katie went through 2 initial trials and was then invited back to final stage where she was successful. She will now undergo a 21 week  FA development programme which will cover all aspects of the game. This a great achievement and well deserved for a player who shows greats dedication, commitment and attitude.

Her agree that Katie is a pleasure to coach and a role model to her fellow teammates.

Also a special mention to Amy Wheeler,Makenzie Gibson and Gabby Mckenzie who all got to the final trial stage. This was no mean feet as the original trial group was whittled down from 70 girls.
