Brilliant work

Message from the Chairman...

"It was a brilliant effort on Saturday at Sunderland.
After deducting the cost of the 100 buckets we had to purchase, I am proud and privileged to announce we made a profit of £3500...brilliant.
Many thanks to Sunderland AFC and there magnificent supporters.

A huge well done to all the volunteers, kids, parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters all helped out. It brought a lump to my throat seeing all the HTJ colours at the stadium.

This club is all about community and friends. You all make me feel so privileged to be the chairman".

New version of website - possible glitches

Here at HTJ Technology department we have always had an issue with the fact our website was not fully compatible with Apple products, ipads etc.

We are now in the process of upgrading the site to be available on all formats.

Please bear with us if some functions are not working correctly at the minute.

One issue we know we will have is if you want to send us something through the site, be it an enquiry or an order for the club shop, etc.

To contact us for anything email admin@hebburntownjuniorsfc.co.uk.

Bucket collection this Saturday

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT BUCKET COLLECTION AT STADIUM OF LIGHT ON SATURDAY.

Can all volunteers please meet outside the Stadium of Light ticket office (just outside the ground) for 1pm on Saturday.

Steve (Mr Chairman) and Davie Sewell will be there with the collection buckets. Volunteer names will be taken and you'll be given a turnstile/s to stand outside to start collection.

It's important if you are planning on going inside SOL to watch match after collection you notify Steve & Dave upon giving your name of the turnstile you'll be entering ground at but also so that they can organise for your bucket to be collected before you enter ground.

All those that are not watching match are to return to meeting point outside ticket office with (Hopefully FULL Buckets) :)

Can all players wear HTJFC black and yellow strips, coaches wear coaches kits/tracksuits and all other people if you have black and yellow then please wear it.

Let's hope this is another fantastic money raiser for the club

To get to the ground you have several options

-          Driving and parking nearby at Tesco’s or McDonalds and walking the short distance to the ground
-          Metro to Stadium of Light or St Peters stations and walking short distance to ground

Due to the timing after the collection people will watch the match or go about their own business, the club will not be hosting anything at the sports ground afterwards

The good news just keeps coming

We are pleased to announce that Hebburn Town Juniors FC have been awarded the status of FA Charter Standard Community Club.

"2013 has so far been a remarkable year in the progress of Hebburn Town Juniors FC. Not only have we grown in the number of teams we have, our coaches have developed their coaching capabilities through hard work and dedication, we were awarded The FA Grassroots Club of the Year. I have just been informed our application to become a Community Charter Standard Club has been accepted.
This means HTJFC really does stand out from the crowd in South Tyneside. This award means that as a club we have to continue to strive to be better and offer the best coaching and facilities we can thus ensuring a progression path for all of our players from the young age of 4 years right through to 21 years.
None of this would have been possible without the dedication from everyone associated with the club, it really is really amazing the year we have had in 2013 so I hope as we move towards 2014 we can continue this great progression"

Steve - Chairman.

Congratulations - Brilliant news for HTJ

Our clubs policy of putting the development of the kids ahead of win at all costs attitudes has just reaped some more rewards.

Three of our U7 lads, Fegus McMenamin, Charlie Mole and Charlie Gallagher have all been called into Middlesbrough Development Centre.

A massive well done to the lads, all of the lads they play, all of the coaches concerned and the parents for there support.
The club are proud of you all.

Keep up the good work everyone and we will all make sure kids playing for HTJ enjoy there football and develop to the best of there ability.
